Scientists use a weed to cure skin cancer in 2 days

Early clinical trials of a new gel based on a common garden weed have cleared up the most common type of skin cancer in 2 days.

This is absolutely amazing news, and while this is a topical treatment, perhaps the research will offer new insight into other kinds of cancers and possible treatment options.

Twice in as many months, there has been news of potential cures for specific kinds of cancers (first HPV and now melanoma). What an interesting time to be alive!
