Further Zelda and Wii details revealed at You Me Wii
According to some dude at NeoGAF (via YouMeWii), Mario 128 and Smash Bros. will essentially be launch titles, with Metroid Prime 3 coming the following year. A $249.99 price point is being bandied about, to which I will remind people that Nintendo has never launched a base system at a price over $199.99 (The Nintendo 64 was $249.99 until three days before launch, when they announced a surprise price drop of $50).
The controller speaker subject comes up again, but to top it off, the idea that the console is always "online" even when powered off. I firmly believe that this is a misinterpretation, in that it is not "online", but simply "not off", similar to how the Xbox 360 and PS2 are not really off, so that they can be turned on remotely.
Just hours left until hopefully all the wraps come off.
