Sony Experiments with Augmented Reality

Joystiq has done a great job of live-blogging the Sony press event, but quite frankly, it's not the same as being there. The pictures are great, but it's something you really have to see to comprehend, especially when all the PS3 has to offer is 1080p gaming.

That said, there is one notable exception ... Eye of Judgment. It uses physical cards and the EyeToy to show a game you can really interact with. What an amazingly cool idea, one that I'm sure Microsoft will now steal and use with the Xbox 360 (and could possibly release it before PlayStation 3 even hits the market).
