Did Kenneth Lay Off Himself?

I have no doubt in my mind that Ken Lay killed himself after reading this story on MSNBC. By dying before the verdict was handed down, the authorities will likely be unable to sieze Lay's assets ... which would now become property of his wife and children.

Why do I have no doubt? Because I'd probably do the exact same thing. If I were to be accused of embezzlement or worse and asked a lawyer how I could protect the welfare of my family, and were to be told that if I died, they'd get to keep the house and other assets, I'd make damned sure my family was taken care of.

One last selfless act of a selfish man.
