There are two kinds of people that I think have a special place in hell reserved just for them: people who hurt animals (animals have no choice but to trust us with their health and well-being), and bad cops. As entertaining as it is to watch a show with flawed characters like depicted in The Shield, it's an altogether different issue when the people we trust to protect us are actively trying to not only keep people from filing police complaint, but then attack those that try to expose their misdeeds. This kind of blatant abuse of process needs to be dealt with swiftly.
