As a Beagle owner (like you hadn't noticed), it makes me incredibly proud when a Beagle's extraordinary qualities are recognize. Excellent sniffers, compassionate, and stubborn (which can be an asset when tracking) make them well suited for certain jobs. In this case, "Trouble" (great beagle name, by the way) is co-winner of the "Paws to Recognize" award. Trouble is a member of the Beagle Brigade, a pack of dogs that serve to sniff out bugs and diseases at airports, before they can contaminate. Oh, and drugs, too.

It's been said that Beagles can sniff out termites in your house, if trained to do so. Catching mice and squirrels is nice, but termites? That's some hardcore sniffing action there.

Way to go, Trouble! A hearty "arrroooooooo" to you!
