Air Marshals: Innocent People Placed On Watch List

"Innocent passengers are being entered into an international intelligence database as suspicious persons, acting in a suspicious manner on an aircraft ... and they did nothing wrong," said one federal air marshal.

I can understand quotas for local law enforcement who are effective acting as fundraisers for the city/state, but for a federal agent to be able to put your name on a watch list, restricting your ability to travel, all because he's concerned about his job security ... this is a very serious and concerning problem.
