Profit: Impossible

Looks like Tom Cruise has his work cut out for him, as Mission: Impossible 3 managed to rake in a mere $48 Million. While that was good enough to secure first place for the weekend, it was $10 Million lower than expectations, not to mention that the movie reportedly cost around $150 Million to make.

I saw the movie last night at the new Lincoln Center Cinemas in Bellevue, and for a 3:30 matinee (which still cost full price!), the place was probably only a quarter full. Not a good sign, but I suspect more people go to see a movie like this in the evening.
