Stories going around talking about Microsoft working on an marketplace app for Windows Live called "Freemont", which is likely a response to Google Base.

For those not from the area, the Freemont district of Seattle is sort of a hip little section of the city with some cool shops, and a lot of bicyclists. Careful what time of year you come to Freemont, though ... you might end up getting an eyeful of the nude bikers during the Freemont Parade!
