dontbuyjunk

Being a knowledgeable techie guy, I'm frequently asked which gadget or device to buy. There's rarely a single correct answer, so I usually end up boring someone to tears with a dissertation on the advantages of 802.11g over 802.11b ...

OK, I'm making that up. I can usually avoid boring people, but it's true that there is rarely a perfect answer. At least, that's what I thought until the people at dontbuyjunk proved me wrong.

It's a site that essentially creates a personalized feature matrix for you, then finds corresponding reviews for products that fit your personal needs, and delivers those reviews with an overall "confidence" rating. It's pretty brilliant, and truely does offer an easy answer to "What should I buy?"
