Nintendogs is out for a walk!

Picked up Nintendogs at EB Games in the Northgate Mall this morning. Apparently, the Dachshund version is incredibly popular, and how could it not ... it's got a Beagle! Actually, it's not only got the standard Beagle colors, but they have the "Lemon" version as well (tan and white instead of tri-colored).

So Casey has a new "virtual" brother named Dexter. Incidentally, Dexter was going to be Casey's name until we got him home and realized that he was most definitely not a Dexter. For comparison's sake, I'll say that so far, the Nintendogs version of the Beagle is very accurate. He's stubborn, but very cute!

Dexter can already Sit, (Lay) Down, Shake, and Wiggle his butt. What a fast learner! He's too tired to learn any more today, and that's probably a good thing, because my real Beagle needs some attention too. But it looks like this will give me the Beagle affection I need when school starts and my schedule becomes long and arduous. Sometimes, all you need is a little beagle pick-me-up to get you through the day.
