Jinxed computer users might be sending out a bad vibe that breaks machines.

I've always thought that it was strange that I just "get along" with computers, and other people just can't seem to quite get the hang of them. Then there are the CDAs "computer disaster areas", the people that seem to find a way to break their computers without meaning to.

I've done computer support for these CDAs before, and I've always thought it strange that whatever problems they have never manifest when I go to fix them. I just chalked it up to "stupid users", but this study seems to think it might be something else.

I'd be the first to call this sort of thing "voodoo science", but if I hadn't experienced it for myself, I'd have completely dismissed it. Plus, it's a Princeton study, and I'd think they might have their shit together.
