Logitech® Harmony® 880 Advanced Universal Remote

Found this little baby on my doorstep when I got home from the day job. Logitech bills it as a remote designed for HDTV and PVR, but in reality, it's an "internet programmable" remote with a color screen, since some of their other remotes can control HDTVs and PVRs as well.

Far too early to tell if I like it or not, but one thing is never going to stop freaking me out ... it's shaped just like the TiVo "peanut", so I keep reaching for buttons that aren't there anymore. Learning a new button layout is going to be interesting to say the least.

OK, one more thing is freaking me out. The remote knows when I pick it up. I don't know if there is an accellerometer in this thing or what, but I do know that the moment I go to use it, the screen lights up. I know I'm not brushing up against a button and I know it's not the contacts on the bottom, because I've tested both. It's a very handy feature, but just a bit creepy.
