The Book Game

I read about this interesting book game while surfing a few blogs, and I thought, "Why not?" So here goes ...

First, the instructions for the game:

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

Well, the instructions don't say anything about having to post author or title. So I'm going to stick to the letter of the law, so to speak, and just give you exactly what it says. I'm sure the book is in my profile, though.
