Samsung Introduces 3MP Camera Phone

Wow. Just wow. A cell phone with a 3MP camera with OPTICAL ZOOM built-in. There's little in the way of details, but it's a pretty funky looking unit. This is where they'll all be going in the future, I think. There's really little reason why you can't have a full-featured digital camera and full-featured cell phone all in a single unit.

In fact, I'd go as far as to say that with LCD screens being as expensive as they are, I should only have to have one in my pocket at any given time. It seems natural to me to incorporate all communications devices into the same unit. Pictures are communication, voice is communication, e-mail is communication. And we're now starting to see the first devices that are figuring it all out.
