Sony lays plans to unveil PlayStation 3 | CNET News.com

Looks like next year's E3 is the show to be at. With Sony telegraphing this early that the PS3 will be on display, Nintendo and Microsoft are sure to step up plans and have their consoles on display as well.

The last E3 I attended was two years ago, and it was a terrible show all around. Last year, a confluence of events kept me away from seeing the two new portable machines, Nintendo's DS, and Sony's PSP. I'm going to have to make sure I can be at the 2005 show.
