These Portable Media Center devices are pretty cool, and I'd get one in a heartbeat if it weren't tied to Microsoft's Windows Media Center OS. That's right, these will only play video files sent by a MCE version of Windows. That's a little backwards thinking, especially with cheaper competition out there.

That said, it looks like the device from Creative is the one to get, with an ever-so-slightly larger screen.
