News from Penny Arcade Panel

Some news broke earlier today when the developer of the Penny Arcade videogame accidentially sent out a press release before the show began. It was clearly an issue with the guys, but they decided to show some art for the first "teaser" poster from the game, entitled "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness."



In true Penny Arcade fashion, the image says nothing and everything all at once. Most notably, the firey orbs in the sky are clearly supposed to elicit the visage of Fruit Fucker Prime (if you don't know, don't ask), making the tagline of "I'm coming" a delicious double entendre.

That was not the only news to be had, however. Mike and Jerry (Gabe and Tycho, respectively) also announced that they would be launching a $10,000 scholarship for any aspiring student that wants to get into the game industry. The generosity of these two guys never ceases to amaze me.

Tomorrow should be interesting, as the exhibition hall finally opens and we get to see if anyone plans to drop a bomb.
