Sony's Desperation Hits New Low

Sony's clearly pinning their hopes on PlayStation 3 being the trojan horse that puts BluRay in millions of homes, but after a tepid response at E3, can they really get the job done? Not if they can't even show off the product right?

Sony threw a part for industry professionals promotion the new Vaio Micro PC and a new AR-series laptop with included BluRay drive. Fingers were smashed in the cookie jar, however, when a reporter discovered that the BluRay demo of House of the Flying Daggers was coming off of a standard DVD+R disc.

The panic level at Sony must be at Defcon 3 by now ...
