Food Poisoning Sucks

Sorry I've been gone. This past week has been busy with projects and exams to study for, but what's my excuse for the week before?

Salmonella.

At least, that's what I think it was. It wasn't severe enough to make me go to a doctor, though I contemplated it several times while I grew intimately acquainted with every crack and crevice of our bathroom tile. Post-illness research had my symptoms corresponding perfectly with an acute case of salmonella poisoning.

So how'd I get it? Chicken strips from Papa John's, as far as I can tell, which is strange, since they come pre-cooked from their supplier. Perhaps it was cross-contamination of some sort? I don't know. I will say this ... I'm getting tired of having people say to me, "Well, what did you expect ordering chicken from a pizza joint?" They've never been a problem before, all right?

Anyway, hopefully once things settle down over the next week or so, I can get back to a fairly regular update schedule. My family on my Dad's side is coming to town this week for Dad's 50th birthday, and that's going to keep me fairly busy, but after that, there should be some time.
