Float's Mobile Agent

If you have a SonyEricsson cell phone with Bluetooth, stop reading this right now, and click the link above.

"floAt's Mobile Agent" is a program that links your computer to your Bluetooth cell phone (or by infrared or USB, but not nearly as cool), and give you a vast array of options. Syncing data, using your computer to send SMS messages, pop-up notification of incoming calls ... even configuring your profiles through the PC. It's stunning just how much this thing can do, and more features are added in every release. Probably the coolest feature is turning your cell phone into a security dongle, so that when you walk away from your computer, the computer will lock down, and unlock when you return.

The forums are a wealth of information as well, with great stuff regarding how to solve conflicts between the Microsoft Bluetooth stack and the more common Widcomm stack.

SonyEricsson makes great phones, hobbled a bit by some persnickety software. floAt's Mobile Agent truly completes the package.
