Google raises over FOUR BILLION DOLLARS
Again, we're into a sum of money that my feeble brain is ill-equipped to quantify. Google's second stock sale (a number of shares keyed to the digits in Pi, those clever folks) could only be called a raging success, and the results are a seven billion dollar warchest they can use for pretty much anything.
Of course, the new question is, what does Google have planned for the cash? They already had roughly three billion liquid before the sale. What would prompt them to say, "Hey, I'm a little short this month ... mind giving me four billion?"
