Awards

Along with the various awards shows that happen this time of year, I myself recieved an award this morning. Through my wife's family, I've been involved with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for the past several years. Today, our family was recognized for our dedication and support in putting on the Puget Sound Affiliate's "Race for the Cure" in Downtown Seattle. We were given the Group Volunteer award, and I'm just happy to have been a part of the organization and their noble cause.

Lord knows that none of us do what we do for any sort of recognition, but sometimes, it's nice to have people notice that you've gone out of your way to do some good, and our family has definitely done that.
