Renovations ...
Blogger has been kind enough to be adding new features on a startlingly regular basis, so I figured the least I could do is ... well, update the header with some snazzier text. I like it. I played with doing a "Bizzaro" take on it for the footer, running the title backwards, but I didn't like how it looked, so I used a quote instead.
In other news, my new iPod is fantastic, and I've been celebrating by taking it (and my iTrip FM transmitter) in the car and listening to Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash", which I downloaded from Audible.com a couple years ago. I was amazed that I hadn't used my account in about two years, and Audible still had my information, and all my purchased content archived for me. I was thrilled. I'm probably going to re-activate my subscription, because that's some fabulous service.
On a final note, I had a lot of fun at PAX'04 (The Penny Arcade Exposition), more fun that I think is recommended by the Surgeon General. I'm stunned at how well they've pulled it off. Minor snags, as would be expected, but a wholly satisfying experience. I made a few more industry contacts as well, so with any luck, my plans for world domination (read: getting a real job) will soon come to fruition. Or at least, my leaning tower of buisness cards will finally topple over.
