This is the most awful thing I've heard in quite some time. Yes, I'm a dog lover, and that's part of why this disgusts me so much. But I saw a bumper-sticker the other day that pretty much encapsultated why I hate people who hurt animals ...

"People who abuse animals rarely stop there."

I implore any of you who witness anyone hurting a relatively defenseless animal to contact the proper authorities immediately. The worst thing anyone can do is hurt those that depend on your for their well-being.

I bet the executives at Enron did this sort of thing when they were kids ...
